Who we are

ReplyRadar is an independent product built and operated by its founder, Pranay Heda, in India. In this policy, "ReplyRadar", "we" and "us" mean the ReplyRadar service and the person who runs it. This policy covers replyradar.tech, replyradar.pranayx.tech and the ReplyRadar app. Questions go to founder@replyradar.tech.

What we collect

  • Account information. Your email address and password. The password is stored only as a one-way hash, never in plain text. We also record when the account was created and your trial and subscription status.
  • Product information you submit.Your product's name, website URL and description. When you give us a URL, our server fetches that public page so we can suggest what to watch for.
  • Watchlist and settings. Keywords, problem phrases, subreddits, competitors, the sources you choose, scan and alert settings, any example replies you provide so drafts match your voice, and any instructions you give when drafting.
  • Alert destinations. If you set them up: the email addresses and names of other people you add as alert recipients, a Slack or Discord webhook URL, and a Telegram chat ID.
  • Leads.Public posts ReplyRadar finds for you (title, text, link, the author's public username and posting time), with the score and reason we assign, any status you set, and any reply drafts you generate.
  • Usage data. Activity needed to run the product, such as when a lead is first shown in your dashboard, lead status changes, and a history of scans (times, counts and errors). We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers. We and our hosting providers process standard technical data, such as IP addresses, browser details and the pages requested, to deliver and protect the site. Our server also keeps operational logs for debugging, which can include IP addresses, request paths and short snippets of content being processed.
  • Payment information. Payments are handled by Polar. When you start checkout, we send Polar your email address and account ID. We receive back customer and subscription identifiers and your subscription status. We never see or store your card details.

How we use it

We use this information to run ReplyRadar: to find and score relevant conversations, draft replies when you ask, send the alerts and digests you set up, manage your trial and subscription, send account emails such as password resets, answer support requests, and keep the service working and free of abuse.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Public posts and the people who wrote them

ReplyRadar searches publicly available posts on Reddit, Hacker News, Bluesky, GitHub, Stack Overflow, Software Recommendations and Lobsters. Matching posts are stored with the project that found them and shown to that project's owner and to the people and channels the owner sends alerts to, such as email recipients or a Slack, Discord or Telegram channel. On our own website we may show a paraphrased example from the project we run on ourselves, with the author removed.

If you wrote a post and want it removed from our systems, email founder@replyradar.tech with a link to it and we will delete it. Because ReplyRadar only finds public posts, a later scan can find it again while it stays public. Deleting or editing the original post on its platform is the reliable way to stop that, and if it reappears, tell us and we will remove it again.

AI processing

We send content to third-party AI models to:

  • turn your website into suggested keywords and phrases,
  • score each post for relevance and buyer intent, with a short reason,
  • draft a reply when you ask for one.

What we send is your product information and watchlist, the text of the public posts being scored or replied to, and any example replies and drafting instructions you provide. We do not send your password or payment details. We pick models per task and change them over time. The AI providers we use are DeepSeek, Google (Gemini), OpenAI and Anthropic (Claude), either directly or through OpenRouter, which forwards each request to a company hosting the chosen model. That host may be the model's maker or an independent inference provider. Each processes this content under its own terms, which depending on the service may allow it to keep or use submitted content, for example for abuse monitoring or to improve its services. AI output can be wrong, so please review it before relying on it.

Service providers

We rely on these providers to run ReplyRadar:

  • Vercel hosts the website.
  • Oracle Cloud hosts the server that runs scans and the API.
  • Supabase hosts the database.
  • Polar handles checkout, payments and subscriptions as the merchant of record.
  • Scaleway sends our emails.
  • DeepSeek, Google, OpenAI and Anthropic provide AI models, used directly or through OpenRouter, as described above.
  • Cloudflare routes email sent to founder@replyradar.techto the founder's Google mailbox.
  • Slack, Discord and Telegram receive lead alerts, only if you connect them.

To find posts, we send your keywords and phrases as search queries to the communities we monitor and the search services they use, such as Algolia for Hacker News. We do not send them your account details.

These providers may process data in countries other than yours, including India and wherever they operate.

Cookies and local storage

We set one cookie, replyradar_auth, to keep you signed in. It cannot be read by page scripts, and it expires after 7 days or when you log out. The dashboard also saves your score filter in your browser's local storage. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Polar's checkout pages may set their own cookies under Polar's policies.

How long we keep data

  • Account, project and settings data are kept while your account exists.
  • Leads are kept until you delete the project that found them. Deleting a project also deletes its leads, alert recipients and scan history. Some internal scan records that reference the project are removed within about a week.
  • A short-lived cache of public Reddit posts used for matching is deleted about two days after a post was last seen.
  • To delete your whole account, email founder@replyradar.tech from your account email. We will delete the account and the data linked to it.
  • Copies may remain for some time afterwards in server logs kept by us, or in logs and backups kept by our providers. Polar keeps billing records under its own obligations.

Security

Traffic is encrypted with HTTPS, passwords are hashed, and the sign-in cookie is not readable by scripts. ReplyRadar is a small independent product and holds no formal security certification. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that data will never be accessed without authorization. If we learn of a breach affecting your data, we will tell you.

Your rights and choices

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing founder@replyradar.tech. You can delete projects yourself at any time. Depending on where you live, local law may give you further rights, and we will honor requests made under them. If someone added you as an alert recipient and you want to stop receiving alerts, ask them or email us.

Children

ReplyRadar is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will also tell account holders by email.
